NICU
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Los Angeles, California.
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
- 15-week contract.
- Unit details: average census 10, 23 beds, 1:3 ratio.
- Patient population: neonates.
- Must be willing to float if needed.
- Accepts first-time travelers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience).
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- High-risk delivery experience.
- Mechanical ventilator experience.
- Experience with Epic.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- NRP.
- STABLE.
- Fire Card.
- State license verification within 14 days prior to start.
- 2 professional references from Manager or above; Charge Nurses are acceptable.
- Employment application/resume.
- Skills checklist.
- 7 years of work history with gaps included.
- Negative 7-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask.
- Negative TB or chest X-ray.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap.
- Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season.
- COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season.
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B immunization requirements as stated by the facility.
- Background check and education verification.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks.
- References and employment history documentation.
- Required facility onboarding documents and health screenings prior to start.
