Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Eureka, California
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:00–16:00
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
- Float required within facility needs and travelers are first to float within their scope
- 11 rooms/beds
- Average daily census: 15–20
- About 20 visits per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience

Additional Notes
- The unit cares for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse population
- RNs circulate on cesarean sections
- Pending license not accepted
- RTO restriction: no more than 7 days
