Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Eureka, California
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 6:00–16:00
- First-time traveler: Yes
- Weekend requirement: Yes, to meet staffing needs
- Float: Yes; travelers are first to float within their scope
- Unit details: 11 rooms/beds, average daily census 15–20, about 20 visits/day
- Specialty context: high-risk OB; RNs circulate on cesarean sections
- Post partum preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- EFM
- IV Certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI
- Competency Exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
