RN - Med Surg
Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Med/Surg.
- Unit: 7 North-Spine / (615)
- Shift: 7A–7P
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Details
- 18–20 beds
- Staffing includes charge nurse, nurses, LPN, and PCTs
- Patient ratio: 6:1 with LPN
- Equipment includes Hoyer, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA
- EMR: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in a hospital setting
- BLS
Preferred
- Burn Care experience
- Wound Care experience
- Ostomy Care experience
- ACLS
Typical Procedures
- Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
