Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

• Temp assignment in Glens Falls, New York
• Days shift
• 13-week contract
• 14 operating rooms, with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections
• Patient population: Pediatric-Adult
• Primarily a circulating role
• Scrub experience is preferred
• Average volume: 50 procedures per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience with Epic
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Scrub and Circulate experience
• Vascular Surgery experience
• Orthopedic Surgery experience
• Trauma experience
• Urology experience
• ENT Surgery experience
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required
• Must have a current Nursys
• Must have own vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Compliance / Onboarding

• 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Must complete one of the following for onboarding and clearance: Welle training, CPI, or PMCS
• Permanent address must be included in the profile and must match Driver License/State ID
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload; requests after upload will not be approved

• COVID vaccination is encouraged, but not required
• Travelers from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties in New York will not be considered
