Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Easton, Maryland
- 16-week contract
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30, Monday–Friday scheduled
- On-call and after-hours coverage are required
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced local travel rate
Role Summary
- Cath Lab Tech with IR Tech experience required
- Small IR suite with moderate to high volume
- Cases are scheduled Monday through Friday, with urgent/emergency after-hours coverage
- Patient population: Adult to Geriatrics
- Common cases include ascites, pleural effusions, malfunctioning/thrombosed hemodialysis AVF/AVG, PICC/portacath replacement/removal, and biopsies
- Special equipment includes Phillips Azurion C-Arm, endoflators, angioplasty balloons, stents, tunneling HD catheters, and PICCs/PortaCaths
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R) or RCIS
- Floating within the specialty and Cath Lab suite is required
- Approximately 8–10 on-call shifts per month, including nights and weekends
- Every third weekend on-call is required for urgent/emergent cases only
- Holidays are required as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Cath Lab scrub experience

- Small IR suite
- Fast-paced environment with moderate to high volume
- On-call starts 31 minutes after scheduled shift end and is for urgent/emergent cases only
