Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Frederick, Maryland
- Night shift: 4x12s, 19:00–7:30
- 48 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Rotating holidays and weekends
- Block scheduling is not available
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Unit
- Labor & Delivery Unit
- 14 Labor & Delivery rooms
- OB Triage Unit
- OB Operating Rooms
- OB PACU
- Provides obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- OB Triage experience
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred
- C-EFM preferred
- AWHONN Intermediate accepted
- C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from the initial contract start date
