Description
GI Lab Registered Nurse
Overview
- Atlanta, Georgia
- 13-week contract
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour day shift
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No local candidates within 50 miles
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Gastroenterology (2 years of experience)
- Gastroenterology experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
Role Details
- GI Lab / Endoscopy Lab assignment in the Atlanta hospital
- Supports endoscopic procedures for Gastroenterology and Pulmonology service lines, including colorectal and bariatric surgery
- Procedures include colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies
Holiday Expectations
- Must work 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
