CT Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Apple Valley, California
- Acute care hospital setting
- High-volume, fast-paced assignment
- 212 staffed beds
- Epic charting
- GE and Toshiba equipment used
Schedule
- Must be open to all shift times; specific shift requests cannot be accommodated
- Variable schedule required
- High need for graveyard shift
- Self-schedule based on seniority
- May work weekends beyond every other weekend to meet unit needs
- Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts
- Start times for CT: 6:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 5:45 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
- ARRT
- ARRT Advanced
- Community hospital experience
Assignment Details
- Can expect 30–40+ scans per 12-hour shift
- May be asked to do own transport based on staffing
- No call
- No floating between like units
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Facility may call off once every two-week pay period
Preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
