Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Downey, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 15-week contract
• Hard start: 12/14
• Every other weekend required
• Must be willing to work holidays
• RTO must be included with submission; no RTO in the first 2 weeks; maximum 3 days RTO

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic
• General Emergency Department combined Adult/Pedi
• Non Trauma Emergency Department
• Pediatric Emergency Department
• STEMI Certified Facility
• Stroke Certified Facility
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care/management
• Phlebotomy
• Starting IVs
• Continuous IV sedation
• IV vasopressors
• Procedural sedation administration
• CVA
• ICP monitoring
• Neuro-Trauma
• Spinal cord injury
• Traumatic brain injury
• Ortho-Trauma
• Head injury
• Near drowning
