Overview

• Contract RN role in the Emergency Department in Mauston, Wisconsin.
• Weekender nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm-7am.
• 32 hours per week.
• Holiday coverage is required if the holiday falls on the weekend.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for Emergency Department patients from pediatric to geriatric.
• Perform direct patient care, triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level process, documentation, patient assessment, treatment, medication administration, emergency resuscitation, IV fluids, blood and blood products, and crisis response.
• Collaborate with providers, peers, ancillary departments, and outside agencies.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, checklists, stocked rooms, and support educational experiences for pre-hospital emergency providers and students.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree.
• ATCN.
