Assignment Length

Role Overview
- Travel assignment for an experienced Tele RN on Tele - 4West
- 22-bed unit
- Mixed Med Tele population with stroke, TIA, seizure, and TBI patients
- Float scope: IMCU (2West) and Med/Surg departments
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- 2-3 years of specialty experience
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam
Preferred
- Open to first-time travelers
Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- No call or standby
Additional Details
- Central telemetry monitoring with 2 Monitor Techs
- RN titration of drips is not required
- Common drips include heparin, amiodarone, cardizem, and DKA set rate or protocol
- Uses Cerner
- Bipap, Cpap, and HFNC are used on the unit; no vents
- Navy scrubs
- 1-shift unit orientation
