Description
RN Transplant Unit
Overview
- Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
- Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
- Schedule: No weekends, no holidays, no call, no OT
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Clinical Nurse responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in a hospital setting.
- Unit focus includes Heart, Lung, Kidney, Liver, Pancreas, and Infusion.
- Duties include meds, vaccines, triage, and infusion.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Transplant experience within the last year
- 1 year of transplant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an ambulatory care setting
- 1 year of experience in an ambulatory setting
- Infusion experience
- Oncology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
- Oncology Infusion and/or Infusion experience
- Outpatient and/or transplant experience
