Description
Med Surg RN
Role Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Med Surg on 3 West.
- 13-week contract.
- Day shift: 7a to 7p.
- 36 hours per week.
Unit Details
- 34-bed mixed med-surg unit.
- Patient ratio: 1:6.
- Floating: all Med-surg units in house.
- On-call: twice per contract.
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule, every other week; for nights, weekends are Friday and Saturday nights.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Basic Arrhythmia
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- Charge experience
Common Procedures
- Foley insertion
- Central line dressing changes
Additional Notes
