Description
RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN role in North Channel FSED.
- 22-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio.
- 36 hours per week.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC
- NRP
Unit Details
- Meditech Magic transitioning to Meditech Expanse 8/13
- Typical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
- Floating may be needed to Fairmont FSED
Schedule
- Weekends as needed or every other, depending on preference
- No on-call requirement
Work Environment
- Team-oriented with a patient-experience focus
- Royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes required
- No false nails, air pods, or meta glasses
- Stethoscope should be available for assessment
