RN Labor and Delivery
Overview
- 13-week contract
- Nights: 19:00 - 07:30
- Level IV brand new Women & Infants Hospital
- 15-bed L&D, 20-bed High Risk Unit, 8-bed OB Triage
- Possibility to float to Carmel L&D if needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP Advanced
- Ascension Fetal Monitoring
- Advanced external fetal monitoring
- Experience administering Magnesium and insulin drips
- Driver's License
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals
- MMR documentation: two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination
- Influenza vaccine documentation or declination
- Health statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment
- Driver's License/State ID must not be expired and must match address on file
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Varicella documentation or immunity verification
- Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date
- Resume or profile
- At least two professional references
- Skills checklist completed within one year of start
- Pharmacology exam completed prior to start
- Specialty exam completed prior to first assignment
- Core competencies completed within a year of start
- Color vision completed prior to start
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
- Badge photo
- Education verification
- Fetal monitoring verification if not covered on the competency exam
- Confirmation of assignment
- Onboarding attestation
- Nursing contingent worker onboarding
- Employment verification for the past seven years
