Description
PCU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbia, South Carolina.
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
- 36 hours per week.
- 13-week contract.
- 6 weekend shifts per every 6-week schedule.
Unit
- 41-bed progressive care trauma / Tele unit.
- Primarily serves adult patients after traumatic injury requiring surgical intervention.
- Telemetry monitoring available for up to 14 patients.
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, flexing to 1:5 as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course.
- NIHSS.
- Experience with Epic.
