Role Summary

Performs CT procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor in a fast-paced environment. The role includes interventional cases, CT Angiography, advanced 3D reconstruction, IV/oral/rectal contrast administration, and support for 24/7 department coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Hampshire
• CT Technologist (3 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry eligible
• Knowledge of CT Scan software, GE and Siemens
• Knowledge of PACS software, McKesson Change Healthcare
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record, Epic

Responsibilities

• Acquire scans according to radiologist and department protocol
• Inform patients of the exam and provide instruction to support cooperation
• Assist the radiologist during interventional procedures
• Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency department patients
• Review IV Contrast Questionnaires with patients receiving IV contrast
• Complete documentation in Epic EMR
• Review exams in PACS for completeness before submitting to the radiologist
• Maintain patient safety
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized work area
• Complete mandatory learning, competencies, and CEUs
• Follow dress code policy and maintain HIPAA compliance
• Perform other duties consistent with the role

Additional Details

• Minimal holidays and back-up call required
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The assignment may be canceled up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
