Unit / Setting
- ED/Building, ground floor
- 378-bed hospital
- Service lines include orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular, and general medical/surgical
- Floating areas: Adult Acute Care and/or Rehab Unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Acute Care and in ARU
- Experience with Meditech use
Work Details
- Target of 8 patients per day in Acute Care and 4 patients per day in ARU/Rehab Unit
- Therapy evaluation and treatment
- Patient screening for appropriate need for therapy services
- Patient discharge recommendations

- EMR: Meditech
- Equipment includes DMEs and exercise equipment
- Dress code: olive green scrub tops, black scrub pants
