Mammographic / DEXA Technologist
Location
- Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Employment Type
- Contract
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- 36 guaranteed hours per week during non-holiday weeks
- No call required
- Department is closed on designated holidays; guaranteed hours are reduced during affected holiday weeks
Role Summary
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
- Cross-train to perform DEXA examinations using the GE iDXA system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Colorado
- ARRT
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
Preferred Experience
- Experience using the Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D Mammography system
- Experience with mammography QC/QA processes
- Experience maintaining FDA and ACR mammography records
- DEXA experience
- Experience with GE iDXA
- Previous travel assignment or rural hospital experience
Additional Notes
- Training will be provided for DEXA examinations using the GE iDXA system
- This assignment is best suited for an experienced Mammography Technologist who can quickly integrate into the department
