Overview

Travel/Contract role in Rochester, New York
Specialty: MSDU RN
26-bed Intermediate Care unit (IMCU)
Night shift: 3x12, 19:00–7:00
Every other weekend
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates must live within 75 miles

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Unit / Clinical Setting

Intermediate Care unit (IMCU), a critical care step-down unit
Receives patients from the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and medical-surgical floors
Adult acute care population
Continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring
Cares for patients needing airway management, acute BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated medicated IV infusions
