Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - CVOR
Overview
- Temp assignment in Midland, Michigan
- Day shift, 10 hours per day
- January start date
- 13-week contract
Role
- Surgical technologist in the Operating Room
- Responsible for maintaining the sterile field, preparing sterile instruments and equipment, anticipating surgeon needs, and tracking medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CVOR Technologist experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- Open Heart experience
- Comfortable floating to General OR if needed
- Tertiary care center and/or designated level I or II trauma center experience
- Permanent address outside the facility’s 50-mile local-candidate restriction
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
- Work history
- Skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to CVOR
- 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
