PACU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12s, 11:00–23:30, with call
- Patient mix includes adults and pediatrics
- Scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Experience working with Adult or Pediatric patients
- Experience in a Critical Care or Level 1 Trauma setting
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Preferred Qualifications
- SICU experience
- MICU experience
- CTICU experience
Schedule / Call
- 2 on-call shifts Monday–Friday in a 6-week schedule
- 1 twelve-hour on-call shift on the weekend in a 6-week schedule
- 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday
Floating
- Possible float to the Tabor GI or pain center
Additional Notes
- RTO is due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Charting system: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net
