CT Technologist

Overview

• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in West Virginia
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (CT)
• Driver's License
• IV insertion skills

Work Setting

• Radiology department
• Imaging for adults and pediatrics; IR is adults only
• No call required
• Travelers will not work weekends or holidays
• Black scrubs required
• In-house radiologist coverage from 7 am to 7 pm; on call from 7 pm to 7 am
• Radiation badge provided by agency, not the facility
• EPIC used in the department
• Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synaps equipment/software are used
• Floor orientation is generally up to 2 weeks; US/MRI can take longer

Schedule Notes

• CT Techs cover inpatient and outpatient areas
• Shifts may include 7a-7:30p, 8a-8:30p, and 8:30a-9p
• Call and holidays may apply
• Weekend coverage may be needed if a tech is off

Submission Requirements

• Only one submission at a time across the WVU system
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
• An unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license must be included with all submittals
• Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
• Up to 2 candidates per opening may be submitted
