RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

  • Travel RN assignment in El Paso, Texas
  • 13-week contract
  • Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Weekends required: 4 weekend days
  • Call: None
  • Target start date: ASAP
  • Unit: ER FSED West
  • Unit location: Building B, 1st floor
  • Bed count: 26
  • Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • CPI
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • STABLE
  • NRP

Unit Details

  • Staffed with day and night shift RNs, CNC, HUC, and PCTs/Paramedics
  • Equipment includes vents, EKG, and Teleneuro
  • EMR: Level 3
  • Permanent positions on the unit are available

  • In & Out Foley
  • Lumbar Puncture
  • Central Lines
  • Moderate Sedation
  • Cardioversion

Dress Code

  • Cobalt/royal blue scrubs only
