Trauma/Ortho/Surgical RN

Overview

Travel RN position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, with at least 2 of those weekends expected to be scheduled
No call required
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel

9th floor
Trauma Level 1
44 beds across two nursing stations/units
Patient ratio: 6:1
Adult patients with trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal, and surgical needs
Common treatment: post-op
Must be willing to float to a unit with a comparable patient population

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg experience
Trauma experience
BLS

Additional notes

EPIC is used on the unit
Professional appearance is required
Facial piercings are limited to a one-sided nose stud; hoops are not allowed on the face
