RN Tele

Overview

Travel RN role in Telemetry.
Unit cares for cardiac and neuro patients.
30 beds currently, with 12 overflow.
4:1 patient ratio.
36 hours per week.
13-week contract.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
EKG interpretation
Experience with chest tube management
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS

Floating area(s): PCU and Med/Surg
Equipment includes Tele boxes, Welch Allen vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps
EMR: Meditech

Schedule

3-4 weekend shifts per month
No on-call

Typical procedures include receiving patients after heart cath, pacemaker, ablation, watchman, valve repair, and cardioversion
