X-Ray Technologist

Overview

• Temp role in Des Moines, Iowa
• Nights shift
• 13-week contract
• Floating across Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center
• No locals: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• NBO: 16 hrs

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Supports Radiology, including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams
• Candidate must be proficient with Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and the Medtronic O-arm
• Operating room experience is needed, particularly with C-arms and O-arms

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
• Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
• Driver's License
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with Carestream portable units
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience
• Current/recent Operating Room experience
• Experience with the C-arm
• Experience with the Medtronic O-arm
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using GE OEC C-arms
• Experience with all age groups, shift dependent
• Level I trauma experience
• Pediatric experience
• Professional reference from within the last 24 months is preferred
