    L&D Charge RN

    Overview

    • Contract role in Family Birth Place
    • Night shift: 12 hours, with rotating weekends
    • Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
    • 36 hours per week
    • 13-week contract

    Unit / Setting

    • Family Birth Place
    • L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum
    • Couplet care
    • About 80 deliveries per month
    • Cares for babies 32 weeks and up

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in Colorado
    • Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
    • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association
    • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
    • NRP
    • STABLE
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

    Additional Notes

    • Current flu vaccine required October 1 through April 1 for all travelers, with no exemptions
    • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
    • CAPS requirement applies and may take up to two weeks to obtain
