PACU RN
Overview
- Specialty: RN Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery
- Location: Ithaca, New York
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: LTA
- Role context: Preop / PACU RN
Schedule
- On-call requirement is roughly 3–4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period.
- Call hours:
- Weeknight: 9p–7a
- Weekend: 7a–7a
- Holiday call required
- Shift start/end times range from:
- 6a–6:30p
- 7a–7:30p
- 8a–8:30p
- 9a–9:30p
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
