Overview

13-week assignment
Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00
One traveler needed to backfill a recently departed traveler and help staff the unit safely

Initial degree in the field must be verified

Influenza vaccine or a Centralus-specific declination form
MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
Fit test completed prior to start

Tdap within the last 10 years, or a Centralus-specific declination form if not on file

Additional Notes

If a vaccine declination is used, the traveler must wear a mask at all times while on assignment
NIHSS training must include 8 hours of stroke training
Fit test must be completed within the last 12 months and may be done on-site if needed
BLS and ACLS must be from AHA or American Red Cross and must not expire during the assignment
Resume must include all employment and gaps from the last 7 years, education history, city/state for all assignments and education, and dates in MM/YY format
Skills checklist must be for the unit the traveler will work in and updated annually
Core competency exam must score 80% or higher and be updated annually
