Cardiac ICU RN

Overview

Travel RN assignment in Cardiac ICU
Unit: Cardiac ICU / (654)
16-bed unit
3rd floor, Main building
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience
CVICU (1 year of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with neuro population and medical ICU population
Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

Staffed with 60 total staff
Day shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT
Night shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT
Patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
Equipment includes cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan

24/7 physician coverage, including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon
