Overview

Travel RN assignment in Neuro Med Surg / (648)
Shift: 7A–7P
Unit has 38 beds
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Neuro experience
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Staffing includes day shift charges, RN ratios of 4–5:1, and PCT support
Staffing includes night shift charges, RN ratios of 4–5:1, and PCT support
Typical patient ratios are 5:1 or 6:1, estimated and never guaranteed
Equipment includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometer
Typical procedures include NIH/stroke assessments, neuro assessments, fall risk assessment, trach care, and feeding tubes

Work Environment

The unit is looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about the neuro patient population
