RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
Location
San Luis Obispo, California
Assignment Details
- Travel contract
- 13 weeks
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Unit: OR
- 7 OR suites
- 15–20 cases per day
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS
- ACLS
- California RN license
- 2 full years of OR experience
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Scrubbing for RN's
Schedule / Call
- One weekend of call per month
- One call night per week
- 30-minute call response time
Clinical Setting
- High volume of ortho including total joints, general, gyn, peds, and eyes
- Cardiac cases are performed, but travelers will not be put in on these cases
- RT 24/7
- Pharmacy is not 24/7
Additional Notes
- Charge nurse available, but not 24/7
- Floating: No
- Scrubs are provided
- Cerner Surginet is used
