Overview
- Travel assignment in Tampa, Florida
- 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (RD)
- ARRT (CT)
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
Work Details
- Will float between X-ray and CT departments
- Shifts: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 7am - 7pm
- Uses a Siemens 16 slice CT machine
Role Summary
- Reviews patient history and physician's orders
- Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and the exam
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
- Monitors patient condition and responds to changes in status
- Prepares equipment and supplies
- Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment
- Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions
- Positions patients and performs imaging procedures
- Analyzes imaging results and addresses image quality issues
- Enters, transmits, and reports scan results
