Registered Nurse

Overview

• Home Health role serving Carroll County, MD, based around Westminster and surrounding areas
• Travel/Contract assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 40 hours per week
• Primarily geriatric patient population
• Expected daily visit volume: 6 visits per day
• Productivity expectation: 30 points per week, approximately 6 points per day
• One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract
• Locals are accepted
• On-call coverage may be requested based on need
• Weekends could be required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Home Health experience within the last year
• 2 years of Home Health experience
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care or Long Term Care setting
• Driver's License
• Experience with wound care, pressure ulcer management and wound VACs
• IV therapy, home infusion, central line/port care, phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs
• Feeding tube, G-tube, ostomy and urinary catheter management experience
• Medication administration, pain management and blood glucose management experience
• Experience with OASIS

Documentation and Compliance

• Visit notes and other documentation must be submitted within 24–48 hours of the visit
• WellSky/Kinnser charting system
