    Description

    CVICU/CCU RN

    Overview

    • Contract RN role in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
    • 13-week contract.
    • 12-hour night shifts, including weekend rotation.
    • Must agree to call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs.
    • Housing is available during the assignment, based on availability, at additional cost.

    Unit / Clinical Setting

    • CVICU with coverage for CCU as well.
    • 2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab.
    • Strong CVICU skills are required.
    • Day 0 CVICU experience is required.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in Colorado.
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
    • 3 years of CVICU experience.
    • CVICU experience within the last year.
    • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
    • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
    • PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
    • Experience working with cardiac patients.
    • Experience in a critical care setting.
    • Experience with immediate post-operative care.
    • Flu vaccination required from Oct 1 through April 1; no declinations accepted.

    Submission Requirements

    • Skills sheet including CVICU skills.
    • Nursys RN license.
    • Proof of flu vaccine.
