Cath Lab Tech

Overview

  • Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
  • First-timers accepted: Yes

  • On-call: Required as needed, rotating with staff and agency
  • Weekend requirement: 2–3 weekends per contract
  • RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT or RCIS
  • Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement and removal
  • Experience with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
  • Experience with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
  • Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
  • Experience with cardiac stent placement
  • Experience with diagnostic catheterizations in adult patients
  • Experience with left heart catheterization
  • Experience with right heart catheterization
  • Experience with RotoPro atherectomy
  • Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with Cerner
