Description
RN - Home Health
Overview
- Travel RN role in Home Health Care
- Coverage for staff leave in Waldo County
- 5 openings
- Day shift: 0800-1700
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation
- No overnight call; call back may be required 2-4 times a month between 1700-2000
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Location

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Home Health (2 years of experience)
- Home Health experience within the last year
- BLS
- Wound Care experience
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with OASIS
Preferred Qualifications
- IV therapy
- Tube feeds
- VAC dressings
- Compression wraps
- Port access
- Ostomies
- Chest tubes
- S/p catheters
- Lab draw
Unit / Patient Population
- Adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU patients
- Case management workload: 20-25 patients, with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day
Additional Details
- Float requirements: None
- Equipment provided for the assignment includes a laptop, iPhone, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bag; all must be returned at departure
- Dress code: business casual or scrubs in any color
- Unacceptable attire: jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes
