Assignment Overview

Travel RN assignment in Richmond, Virginia
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Unit: 2 North Oncology
24-bed unit
Patient ratio: 5-6:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience

Unit Details

Procedures performed on the unit include Chemo
Floating is as needed
Scheduling includes 4 weekend days; for nights, weekend days are Saturday and Sunday
Documentation system: Meditech

Unit Environment

2 PCT per shift
1 unit secretary during day shift
Required uniform: Navy Blue
Patient experience practices include Whiteboards, Bedside Shift Report, Hourly Safety Rounds, and Key Words
