RN Tele
Overview
- Travel RN role in Conroe, Texas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit
- 2 North
- 23 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- NIH Certification
- Previous Expanse experience
- Ability to draw labs
- At least one year of acute care in M/S Tele or stepdown unit
Unit Details
- Patient ratio for nurses: 1:6
- Patient ratio for techs: 1:10-15
- Floating: any needed within skill set
- 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Common Procedures
- Lab draws
- IV insertions
- Foley insertions
- Administering IV fluids and medications such as antibiotics
- Preparing patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Communication with physicians
