Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Mission Hills, California
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 16 weeks
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• 36 hours per week
• First-timers accepted: No
• Locals accepted: Yes
• Weekend requirement: No
• On-call requirement: No
• Floating: Yes, to PCU and ICU overflow
• RTO must be noted at time of submittal

Unit / Clinical Setting

• High-acuity ICU assignment with strong Neuro experience required
• Patient population includes cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gun shots, stroke and STEMI center, motor vehicle accidents, and ortho
• Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
• Also includes 12 overflow beds
• Clinical mix includes CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, sepsis, and surgical patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
• NIHSS
• LA Fire Card
• Strong Neuro experience
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
• Experience with CRRT
• Experience caring for CABG patients
• Experience with Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center care
