Summary

Staff Registered Nurse (RN) role in the ED
Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, nursing interventions, documentation, safety, and collaboration with providers, patients, families, and staff

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
Illinois state RN License in good standing
BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
PALS (American Heart Assoc.)
TNCC or TNS or TCRN
ASN

Key Responsibilities

Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans
Implement and modify nursing interventions and plans of care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Report or correct safety hazards and incidents
