RN- PCU/MS Float

Role

Travel/Contract RN- PCU/MS Float. Must be comfortable working all PCU and MS units.

Schedule

Night shift
3x12 hours
6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
IV therapy experience
Phlebotomy experience
Blood product administration experience
Central line care experience
Tracheostomy management experience
Non-invasive airway support experience including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest tubes
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management experience
Titrating cardiac drips experience
Rapid Response/Code team response experience
PCA protocol management experience
Experience with Epic

Scheduling Expectations

May float 2-3 times per shift, up to every 4 hours
May work every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
Must work one holiday per 13-week contract

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Locals are accepted
RTO, block, and special scheduling requests must be included with submission
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
