Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Seward, Alaska
• Long Term Care Facility
• 40 staffed beds
• 1:20 ratio
• 13-week assignment
• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: 4x12 variable; shifts will be either days or nights based on facility needs
• Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
• Floating: may float within scope to meet facility needs
• On-call: no
• Block schedule: not accommodated
• Local candidates: not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license: not accepted
• First timers: not accepted
• Previous travel experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation

Additional Notes

• Alaska Food Worker Certification is obtained during on-site orientation; it is not required before start
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years
• No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26-week contract
• Parking is free
• Shuttle transportation is arranged to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the contract
• Local shuttle is available in Seward
