Description
House Supervisor
Location: River Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
Hours: 36 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overview
This role provides clinical backup for the Emergency Department primarily, as well as Med Surg/special care, in a small community critical access hospital that is Level 4 trauma certified and an acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- House Supervisor experience
- Weekend requirement: every third weekend
- No on-call
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- Pending license is accepted
- A criminal background check is required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
- HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
- Skills Checklist 1, annually
- Primary source verification of license
- Respiratory safety clearance before start
- Tdap required for all candidates
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination documentation
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Drug testing within 1 year of start
Preferred
- No more than 5 days of requested time off is ideal
