Pediatric ER

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Dayton, Ohio
Evening shift: 3x12 hours, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Unit / Float Scope

May float across all ED sites, inpatient units when necessary, and to South ED based on staffing need
May work in the Mental Health Crisis Center as part of ED RN rotation
If ED census is low, may float to Specialty Pediatric Units (Med/Surg), PICU, NICU, or Transitional Care Unit

Additional Notes

Navy scrubs or navy/black scrub pants required
Care assignment may be for 1-4 patients depending on acuity and unit
