RN Labor and Delivery

Overview

• Location: Clovis, California
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
• Guaranteed work week: 36 hours
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• NRP
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance

• NRP must be completed through the AAP NRP learning platform.
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring is required every 2 years.
• BLS and ACLS must be AHA or ARC only.
• Education verification accepts a diploma, degree, or transcripts.
• MMR proof is required.
• Hepatitis B proof is required.
• Influenza Vaccine is required from October through March unless otherwise indicated by CDPH.
• TB Test must be within 30 days of start and show negative results.
• Health Statement must be signed and dated within 1 year of start.
• Varicella proof is required.
• Tdap proof is required within the past 10 years.
• CHS Criminal Background Check Results must be within 30 days prior to start.
• CHS OIG Search, CHS EPLS, CHS OFAC, and CHS National Sex Offender searches must be completed within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• CHS Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List search must be completed within 30 days prior to the first assignment and updated with each extension.
• CHS Drug Screen must be within 30 days of start and is a 10-panel standard test.
• CHS Confirmation of Assignment/Job Description, CHS Acknowledgement of Receipt for Policy Packet, CHS Dispute Resolution Agreement, CHS Badge Photo, CHS ROI for MyChart, CHS Any DNS (Do Not Rehire/Send), and CHS Confidentiality of Receipt are required onboarding documents.

Optional / Conditional

• COVID-19 Vaccine is optional for submission; proof of vaccine and 1 booster or exemptions must be submitted for approval.
• Fit Test will be completed onsite on the start date.
• Covid Test is required on the start date for clinical staff.
• CHS Social Security Trace, CHS Employment Verification, CHS Driving Record, and CHS Opt In Sheet are optional.
• HLC Confirmation is optional and must be completed by Friday before start if used.
