CT Technologist

Overview

• CT assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.
• 13-week contract.
• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Call required.
• Holidays required as needed and scheduled.

Role Summary

• Perform quality CT exams and all procedures offered by the department.
• Duties include QA, stocking the department, and working with patients, physicians, families, students, and other healthcare personnel.
• The role includes floating to other locations within the CT department under the same manager.

Procedures / Clinical Scope

• Neuro, Body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures including biopsies, ablations, and drain removals.
• 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, urograms, trauma scans, and dual energy understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Level 1 trauma center experience.
• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License.
• ARRT(CT)(R).
• AHA BLS.
• Proficiency with computers/computer systems, including basic navigation and email applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and handle difficult customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience.
• GE equipment experience.

Unit Details

• 8 CT scanners across campuses.
• GE equipment used.

Training

• 6-week orientation for outside candidates with assigned preceptor.
• Mid-point check at 3 weeks.
