Description
CT & X-Ray Tech
Overview
- Contract role in Lamar, Colorado
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 10:00am–9:00pm, Monday–Thursday
- No call
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist (3 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
- BLS
- Radiologic Technologist experience
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-Ray examinations
- Produce radiographs using proper technical factors and evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning
- Schedule exams and instruct patients on exam preparations
- Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
Work Conditions
- Requires independent judgment and technical skills
- Must be able to work alone, make independent decisions, and adapt to emergency situations
- Must maintain patient confidentiality
- Requires manual dexterity, frequent position changes, and the ability to lift and move patients with or without assistance and maneuver equipment of 20 pounds or more
- Includes periods of stooping, standing, bending, moderate lifting, and patient care
